Description

A rare small Old Sheffield Plated argyll / gravy warmer. Bearing no makers mark, but dating to c1800. With removable lid and an internal hot water reservoir filled from the top of the handle. With a turned wooden finial and handle.

The condition is good overall with no dents. Slight copper bleed to the raised edges of the lid, a small solder mark to the base of the spout and an old repair to the handle, although this is still very firm. Very clean interior.
