1900. It is of solid Oak construction with quality metal work hinges and unusual floral marquetry inlaid panels. This Oak chest stands on raised feet and has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
