Large 18th Century Carved Oak Coffer, Hall Seat

This is a lovely old piece, the coffer has a raised edge so that a cushion is held in place making it into a very useful Hall Bench as well as Coffer Storage

The coffer comes with a new fitted cushion which has been upholstered with Harris Tweed, in moss green with a little blue and red in the check

There is a carved border around the top edge of the coffer and 2 superbly carved front panels

This is a very unusual and attractive piece, it has a few antique Dings and Dents, it is sound and has a wonderful patina

The Chest is 47” long, 26” deep and 23” high
