This wonderful Pair of Pricket Candle Wall Lights, mounted on deeply carved Oak Panels, when lit provide a subtle, evocative light.
The carved oak panels used to create these lights date from at least the 18th century, if not before, and were originally part of a larger piece of furniture or an architectural fitting. They are of good, rich colour.
The simple metal arms are topped by carefully turned oak cups finished with a metal sconce and a central pricket for holding the candle.
The condition of the Lights is good. There aare signs of old, extant worm to the edges. The panels are solid and strong.
