AN INTERESTING AND FINELY SPUN WEST PERSIAN KURDISH KILIM DATING FROM THE LATE 19TH CENTURY.

HAS A VARIETY OF COLOURS USED OVER 10 AND HAS A LOT OF EARLIER IDIOSYNCRATIC FEATURES INCLUDING TWO-PLY VARIOUS COLOURED WOOLS MIXED TOGETHER IN A STRAND,ALL IMAGED IN ITS DESIGN. DOWN BOTH SIDES ALL THE WHITE IS NATURAL UNDYED COTTON USED IN THE WEFT THREADS MAKING FOR A DISTINCTIVE AND IMAGINATIVE LOOK WITH A KIND OF EYE DAZZLING PATTERN.
