This late 19th-century North West Persian runner rug exhibits a traditional tribal style with saturated natural dyes and a thick pile of shiny wool. The dark navy blue field contains a repeating medallion pattern of geometric floral palmettes and terracotta motifs, enclosed within a multi-ribbon geometric border in shades of terracotta, light blue, and cream.
