This is a really attractive antique carpet runner dating from around 1890. It has a very pleasing design and colour palette. It has a deep indigo field and an attractive polychrome lattice diamond design to it featuring a lighter indigo, warm red and a lovely saffron shade. The multiple borders have rosettes and serrated leaf design. This is a great size measuring 292 cms by 109 cms and is in good order with a little wear to the ends and an even pile.
