17th Century Oak Coffer

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: Holmes Antiques

A really good 17th Century Oak Coffer in mint original condition and of super colour.

Retaining the original butterfly hinges and standing tall on original feet. Having panelled top, the front carved with lunette top rail, lozenge panels and stiff leaf stiles, nice to see the carved work extending to the ends of the piece. The coffer is wonderfully clean and untouched inside.
