Spencer Robertson Antiques has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
The two drawers are lined with oak and have hand cut dovetails. The perimeter of the drawers and doors have a tulip wood banding with a box and ebony stringing line. Below the drawers is a shaped frieze leading to splayed Hepplewhite style feet. Retailed by Spillman & Co, St Martins Lane, London (circa 1905) starting in the 19th century as cabinetmakers Spillman & Co became one of London’s leading furniture dealers. The cupboard door and drawers all retain their original keys.
