Very unusual English Regency mahogany and inlaid waterfall bookcase with a slide out writing surface and cabinet storage space, circa 1820 and in good original condition.
Looking at this piece and I would say it could also work well as a drinks cabinet too, using the slide out surface for pouring and bottles / decanters etc below as you have an adjustable shelf to accommodate. Perhaps then using the cupboard above for glasses etc...or as a bookcase with storage below and a writing surface.
Certainly unusual to have the pull out slide and an interesting piece of good quality early 19th century furniture.
Any queries or if you need further dimensions, do let me know.
