This is a beautiful antique Victorian hallmarked solid sterling silver coffee pot measuring 11? (28 cms) tall x 8 1/4? (21 cms) across from handle to spout with a 2 1/4 pint capacity.
The condition is excellent with no damage – any marks you can see are just reflections and there are no inscriptions or monograms.
It’s hallmarked for Sheffield 1850 with the silversmiths mark for Robers & Hall.
It has an armorial crest on one side with the Latin motto ''Arte et Marte'' which means ''Skill and Initiative''.
It weighs 715.8 grams / 23 troy oz which gives you an idea of the quality and inside is clean and perfectly usable.
