Early 20th Century Oriental Carved Camphor Wood Storage Chest

Description

A very good quality early 20th century oriental freestanding camphor wood chest deeply carved to the top and front with scenes of pagodas, horses, people and trees within a cherry blossom border. The chest stands on stepped bracket feet and retains its original decoratively embossed brass back plate and latch and comes with a lock and key. The interior of the chest has a lovely camphor wood aroma and a removable tray.
