Description:

Here is a fine quality antique English Edwardian upholstered ottoman, with mahogany feet, circa 1910, which has been newly upholstered and is in excellent condition. The upholstered ottoman has been newly upholstered in top quality beige, pink & green structured silk embroidered upholstery, in an attractive semi-ruched style. The upholstered ottoman has been upholstered in a top-quality material. The upholstered seat itself is firm, which means that you won’t sink into the upholstery, but at the same time, it is very comfortable to sit on. The hinged seat lifts open to reveal an internal storage compartment, which has been newly upholstered in cream cotton. The lid is held open by a rope support stay. The upholstered ottoman is raised on the mahogany bun feet, incorporating brass castors.

Condition Report:

Here is a fine quality antique English upholstered ottoman, with mahogany feet, circa 1910, which has been newly upholstered and is in excellent condition. The seat itself is firm and is very comfortable to sit on or rest your feet. The upholstery is therefore new, clean and free from any wear, dirt or damage. The feet have been French polished in our workshops. The internal compartment has been newly upholstered in cream cotton material. The mahogany bun feet and castors are replacements and the castors are in excellent condition. Importantly, there are no breaks to the feet or frame. This upholstered ottoman is solid in joint and ready to use.
