A stunning antique Victorian 18ct gold cabochon amethyst engraved locket. It’s rare to come across such a superb example of Victorian locket as beautiful as this. The deep royal purple cabochon amethyst surrounded by an engraved rim in a domed design stands out wonderfully, oozing with antique charm. The rear of the locket has a pretty engraved pattern across it also. A part of our antique locket collection.

CONDITION

Very Good – Excellent – This antique Victorian 18ct gold cabochon amethyst engraved locket is in wonderful condition. Aside from a very small, almost unnoticeable dent to the rear of the locket the metalwork is fabulous. The opening mechanism works perfectly. The cabochon amethyst is free from any blemishes, scratches or chips. A superb piece of antique jewellery which has obviously been very well cared for throughout its life.
