Description

George 111 Mahogany Cupboard Base Bookcase. The stepped cornice having reed edge to top and flared cross veneered frieze. The astragal glazed doors opening to 3 adjustable internal shelves. The right hand door frame having boxwood and ebony strung edge and both frames having bone escutcheons. The base having a square edge with cross veneer and ebony outline stringing. The flared panelled doors below having moulded frames with re-entrant corners around a crossbanding with ebony strung outline also having bone escutcheons and boxwood and ebony strung door strip. The interior having long drawer to top over two adjustable shelves. All on splay feet with shaped apron with boxwood and ebony stringing above.
