Lovely Japanese Meiji (19thC) raden (mother-of-pearl) black two-tier lacquer storage box. Good condition with some losses due to age and use.

Raden is a Japanese term for a decorative technique used in traditional crafts such as Japanese lacquerware and woodwork.
