The box is made from good quality woods both pine and walnut, and of solid construction, it is very sound and clean inside.
The chest is well over 100 years old and it is in good condition, as you would expect there are a few minor blemishes but no serious faults.
So whether for toys blankets or any other storage this one would also make a very good size Coffee Table
