A beautiful antique 18ct gold abalone shell locket. This gorgeous locket has abalone shell fitted to the front and back which looks stunning. The frame of the locket has been finely crafted in 18ct gold in an exquisite scrollwork design. The locket opens via a good sturdy hinge and closes securely. A superb example of a Victorian piece of jewellery and an excellent addition to an antique jewellery collection. A part of our antique locket selection.

CONDITION
Very Good. This antique 18ct gold abalone shell locket is in very nice condition. The metalwork is in perfect order with very few signs of any wear. One shell front has two thin natural fractures noticeable under a 10x loupe which aren’t detrimental in any way and are otherwise excellent. A superb piece of antique jewellery.
