Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Art Deco pearl jewellery typically features geometric symmetry, platinum or white gold settings, and high-contrast combinations of natural pearls with old cut diamonds. Design choices from this era shifted away from Edwardian motifs towards structured cluster arrangements.

Rings from this period were predominantly crafted from platinum or white gold to showcase white pearls and diamonds. Settings frequently incorporated hand-cut old European or mine cut diamonds arranged in scalloped or geometric bezels.

Authentic pieces display hand-finished settings, irregular old cut diamonds, and period hallmark stamps. Under magnification, natural pearls exhibit subtle organic surface variations and growth structures rather than the uniformity of modern cultured pearls.

An antique pearl cluster ring functions as a statement dress ring or an alternative engagement ring. Its monochrome neutral tones allow it to complement contemporary platinum or white gold fine jewellery for both daily wear and formal events.

Natural pearls are organic and vulnerable to chemicals, cosmetics, and ultrasonic cleaners. The piece should be cleaned using a soft dry cloth and stored separately in a fabric-lined box to prevent scratch damage from harder gemstones.
