Large 17th Century Carved Oak Coffer

Description

Large size 17th century carved oak coffer of the most gorgeous colour and patination. All the original arcade carving to both the front and sides plus nice original carving to the front stiles and legs. Slightly domed top with original under bearers at each end. Original iron lock but the clasp is missing. Old replacement hinges which is not a surprise due to the weight of the top, I expect the original pin hinges gave up long ago. The most gorgeous colour and patination with waxed finish.
