A 17th century Welsh oak coffer , the moulded lid with sunken panels retaining it''s original hinges, above a three panelled front standing on good tall feet. Fine colour and patina and in original condition throughout bar an old repair to one back foot, see photo. Merionethshire Circa 1670.
