Description

George 1V Mahogany Cupboard Base 2 Door Bookcase. The slight inverted breakfront stepped cornice over a frieze with a moulded base. The pair of brass interlaced grilled doors having pleated curtains behind grills these held by brass rails. The flanking reed columns are attached to the doors. The interior adjustable 5 shelves having reeded fronts and held by mitred ends. The base having half round moulded edge over a frieze with moulding running below over a pair of panelled doors again with attached flanking reeded pillars. The interior with 2 adjustable shelves again with reeded fronts and mitred ends. Both upper and lower doors with brass strip. The moulded base below sitting on bun feet.
