Description

A really decorative, beautifully hand carved hardwood chest in the Arts & Crafts taste dating from 1904. The chest is in excellent order with lovely deeply carved foliage designs flanked by Celtic cabled borders. The fielded panels are framed to the lid with carved Celtic rose designs and reeding to the front and sides. The piece is signed with the carvers initials to the inside of the lid JC and the date 1904.

A very practical size this measures 48 cms high by 88 cms wide by 43 cms deep.
