Here we have a really beautiful Victorian campaign silver chest in Oak and iron and complete with working lock and key, there are also heavy gauge iron carry handles on the sides.
There is a brass plaque on the top with the owner''s name on for R Lowndes Esq and also a very old faded paper label on the side for Mousell Bros Furniture Depository.
Inside there are remnants of the original red velvet lining.
There is an old split to the top.
