Here we have a wonderful Charles II Oak bible box c1680 on a 19th century Oak stand c1880. As you can see the box and stand have great colour and patina. There is a two plank top or lid with great grain and colour. There is wonderful arcaded carving to the front. The frame is traditionally made and has a wavy frieze and well turned baluster legs and an adjoing stretcher base. A super period example in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 71 cm high 38 cm deep 68 cm wide.
