Description

Here we have a wonderful Queen Anne Oak Welsh coffer c1700. As you can see the coffer has excellent colour and patina. There is a three panel top with double pegged joints and super colour. There are a further two fielded panels to the front and the original lock plate. The chest has lost almost no height and stands tall on stile legs. There are stunning through joints in the construction which are double pegged and typically Welsh. Small repair to rear leg. A super period coffer of compact proportions in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are are approx 97 cm wide 45 cm deep 65 cm high.
