English Regency Antique Walnut Tantalus Chest

A beautiful quality made, early 19th century antique burr walnut tantalus chest that is a lovely shaped, finished and well panelled on all four sides and it is a wonderful, original colour. The shaped top opens on quality brass hinges and is held by a brass lid keeper. Inside is lined in walnut with sections for wine. In excellent condition, a lovely model that dates from around 1820.
