17th Century Antique Oak Coffer with Box Wood Stars

A wonderful, English early 17th century antique period oak transitional coffer in fabulous, honest condition. Featuring original decorative inlaid holly and box wood stars to the front panels and with shaped plank ends, a plank top, all with the original iron hinges and locking plate. The panelled front also features an original carved top rail, all pegged construction and a lovely, dry original colour. A beauty.
