A late 17th century oak coffer with good carving, the top rail bearing the initials E W. The top has three boards with a moulded edge above a carved top rail, two centre panels with lozenges and nice carved stiles and bottom rail. The lid opens to reveal an interior with candle box and original bottom boards. Welsh Borders Circa 1685.
Our opening times are Monday (by appointment) Tuesday - Saturday 10.30 till 5 pm.
