A very rare early 18th Century Solid Cherrywood Silver Chest of fabulous colour and patina, nicely decorated with a fine double bead to the corners and top and having a boldly shaped mould to the base.
With wonderfully clean original linings and interior, retaining the original strap hinges, locks and untouched George I handles. Standing on nicely shaped little cabriole legs. The piece really glows.
It is a real country house piece that has remained in incredibly clean condition.
