Antique James 11 Small Country Oak Coffer Chest C1680 Wdb230/22.6

Description

Gorgeous antique james 11 small country oak coffer and dating from aorund the time of the restoration period 1680. It has three panels to the top above a deep frieze and two panels each having a carved lozenge. It stands on style feet and is peg joined with panelled sides and original rough hewn panelled back with original iron and loop hinges.

Possibly originating from the lake district.

Super small coffer in very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the oak and oozing the charm and character of the period.

Measures: 19" high X 19" deep X 39" wide
