A Superb Cabinet Makers Tool Chest

Description

A superb Cabinet Makers tool chest. The interior is in flame mahogany with rosewood banding with a series of movable drawers and compartments, beautifully made with hand cut dovetails and ivory knobs and bears the owners plaque "George Gother Aug 3rd 1838". The exterior has been repainted but the back does retain the original paint finish, please see last image. 670mm high, 990mm wide and 670mm deep. English. Dated 1838.
