18th century antique carved oak coffer having a lift up plank top lid with a moulded edge opening to reveal a storage compartment. It boasts a quality carved frieze with an original iron lock plate, three magnificently carved oak panels depicting sunflowers to the centre and a delightful carved plinth.

A very handsome 18th century example having very desirable age related wear, colour and patination.
