Large Blanket Chest With Embossed Islamic Inscriptions

An early 20th century wooden blanket chest with bone inlay. This lovely blanket chest captures our attention with its rich geometrical decoration. The chest is topped with a rectangular lid, opening to reveal a nice storage compartment. It is the out side of the chest however that steals the show with its delicate bone inlay forming a geometric motifs and Islamic inscriptions (Versus from the Quran).
