Country Period Oak Antique Mule Chest

This Country House Period Oak Antique Mule Chest comes full of beautiful charm and character and dates from ca. 1740. It has a moulded lid and the interior has lots of storage along with a candle box and two small drawers. The front of this lovely antique mule chest has raised fielded panels along with two working drawers with decorative brass handles. It stands on raised feet, has panelled sides and back and has aged to a warm Oak shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
