Description

A lovely antique camphorwood travelling trunk, most likely a military piece, with recessed brass carrying handles. It dates from the late 19th / early 20th century. It is very well made from solid camphor and has a lovely colour and patina.

It is in good condition for its age and is strong and sturdy. There are some minor signs of age and use, some small knocks and surface marks here and there and some light scratches on one end but noting detrimental. The box is clean and tidy inside, it has been cleaned and lightly polished and it displays beautifully.
