Art Deco jewellery, prominent from the 1920s to the 1930s, is characterised by geometric precision, stylised motifs, and a strong influence from modern industrial design and cubism.

Jewellery from this era frequently utilised platinum for its strength and brilliant white lustre, often paired with old European cut diamonds and calibre-cut gemstones.

Authentic pieces typically feature hand-cut diamonds with distinctive small tables and high crowns, hand-engraved details in platinum, and period-specific maker marks or hallmarks.

Antique rings can be worn as standalone statement pieces or paired with contemporary wedding bands to create a curated, high-contrast stacked look.

Regular professional inspection of the settings is essential to ensure the stones remain secure, and cleaning should be performed using warm soapy water and a soft brush, avoiding harsh ultrasonic cleaners on fragile historic stones.
