Description

A handsome oak coffer dating from the late 17th Cent. It has a four panel top and has three beautifully carved panels to the front. The rails are also nicely carved. All the carving looks to be original and is nice and deep and well executed. It also stands on good tall style feet.

It is in overall good condition and a nice colour. There are some minor repairs to the back rail of the top and the hinges have been replaced, however this is only to be expected after over 300 years of use.
