A lovely antique 15ct rose gold watch fob with a triangular sardonyx section. The sardonyx has been finely hand engraved with an intaglio of Roman male, and although black at first site, when held to the light it has a gorgeous tinge of red. The mount is early Victorian, probably dating from the 1840s and the rim of the setting is engraved “J Hancock”, which adds a nice element of interest. A part of our antique gold pendant collection.
