This attractive antique Qashqai Rug has a lovely range of warm colours and a charming design featuring the horses on the Pillars of Persepolis. Persepolis is the ancient capital of the Achaemenid empire whose ruins lie close to the city of Shiraz around which the nomadic Qashqai tribes migrated for centuries.The rug has a very appealing square format, velvety hand-spun wool, natural dyes and has survived the generations in very good condition. Original selvages intact. Professionally cleaned and ready for immediate use.
