Small Victorian Oak Antique Casket Chest

This Quality late 19th Century, Small Victorian Oak Antique Casket / Chest / Box dates from ca. 1890 and apparently originated from Windsor Castle. It has an octagonal hinged lid above two hinged beautifully figured doors with key and the interior is fabric lined, so ideal to display jewellery. The Oak is a golden shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

Approximate Dimensions are:

Height: 26 cm / 10 inches

Width: 29 cm / 11.5 inches

Depth: 27 cm / 10.5 inches
