Seventeenth Century Period Panelled Oak Antique Coffer

Of pegged construction, this wonderful antique oak coffer has a moulded panelled lid with lovely iron pin hinges above panelled front. This super antique coffer stands on raised feet and has a key with working lock along with beautiful charm and character. The oak has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
