Description

A charming, high quality box for general purpose storage. This useful trunk has a sloping lid opening on two hinges to reveal a single storage compartment. It is in high grade solid mahogany with exposed fine dovetail joints to all four corners, and has an untouched original finish with a great depth of colour and a glowing patination. It is English, c.1880s, and there is a lock and key in perfect working order.
