Description

Good c18th oak panelled coffer or blanket chest.

Well carved panels and has its original interior and bottom, also original strap hinges too.

There has been an alteration to the lock as you can see, but other than this, it is in good original condition.

Useful pieces of furniture, whether purely for decor or to give you storage space as a hall piece perhaps.

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
