Early 18th Century Antique Oak Iron Bound Chest / Box

This is a fabulous, large sized English antique period oak box, probably a silver chest dating from the Early Georgian times. In super condition, the hinges lid still has the correct hinges, the sides are bound in iron and have a large iron lifting handle to all of the four sides. This Georgian antique chest is canted in shape, being 75cm wide at the back, to 55cm at the front. All in very good, solid and correct condition and a superb colour. This early Georgian antique oak box would make a great log bin by the fire.
