Early 20th Century Oriental Carved Camphor Wood Chest

1900 - 1920
Description

An extremely good quality Oriental freestanding teak chest with beautifully carved inset maple panels of birds and flowers to all four sides and top stood on cabriole feet. The chest retains it original engraved brass back plate and latch and comes with a lock and key. The interior of the chest is lined in camphor wood which gives a lovely aroma.
