A Superb Teak Trunk

18th century
Description

Raised on a shaped plinth with carved patera and drawer above which are 2 inset arched panels. With steel strap work, hasp and lifting handles all of which are original. The lid lifts to reveal an interior of a large central storage space with small compartments to either side. In very good condition and a lovely honey colour. 700mm high, 1070mm wide and 670mm deep. Indian , Circa 1790.
