Original Painted Pine Antique Box with Orignal Lettering

An Edwardian English antique painted pine storage box with period hand painted lettering that says, Armalgamated Society of Mill Sawyers & Wood Cutting Machinists - Sunderland Branch. It was a trade union set up in 1877, this box dates from around 1900. The box is in very good, solid condition and is complete with iron lifting handles to each side. Probably used to store the Trade Union papers for the Sunderland mill.
