An Early 19thc Scumble Painted Trunk

Description

An early 19thC pine trunk in its original scumble combed paint finish. Interesting cigarette card lined lid. The trunk itself is very original with iron hinges, lock and carrying handles. Simple plinth base. Candle box with lock which had been used as a mony box in the past. It would make a good childs toy trunk or small coffee table.
