This richly-coloured and aromatic BRASS BOUND CAMPHOR WOOD CHEST bears the original MAKER'S LABEL on the inside of the lid, namely, AH FOO, CONTRACTER (sic) CARPENTER AND CABNETMAKER (sic), No 26 QUEEN'S ROAD EAST, HONGKONG (sic).

It dates from around 1880.

The CHEST has two, strong, brass carrying handles to the sides and two brass stays to the inside.

Ideal for storing your cashmere.
